The music ministry of Chestnut Ridge exists to provide opportunities for genuine worship and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through music.
Adult Choir
The “Choir of Amazing Love” has the unique ministry of leading our church in praise and worship each Sunday morning. This choir often presents special programs for our church and community including Christmas and Easter. The purpose of the choir is to exalt the name of Jesus and to lead others to worship Him. The choir rehearses each Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the choir room. This is not an auditioned choir and visitors are welcome!
Praise Team
The Praise Team is an ensemble of 4-8 vocalists who lead in contemporary worship. It is an auditioned group and is comprised of adult choir members.
Children’s Choirs
Out Children’s Choirs are comprised of separate graded choirs for preschool and elementary students beginning with age three. The children spend time learning musical concepts and bible stories. They present musicals and special programs for our church family at various times during the year. The children meet on Wednesday at 6 pm.
Praise Band
The Praise Band is a very important part of the music ministry at Chestnut Ridge Church. Whether it’s beginning a worship service with an inspiring prelude or joining the choir and praise team in leading praise and worship, the band’s main focus is helping others glorify God through music. Older youth and adults are welcome. The band rehearses Sunday at 9:30 am.
